I believe the one-party elections have been healthy for the San Fernando Valley this year. In the 46th Assembly District, Democratic challenger Angela Rupert is gaining on Democratic incumbent Adrin Nazarian. If this were a typical Democrat vs. Republican race, Mr. Nazarian would have a lock on victory because voter registration is overwhelmingly Democratic in our district. Now, we have a competitive Assembly election with Rupert and Nazarian.

Issues such as rising crime, education and the Valley’s homeless epidemic are finally being addressed by a formidable Democratic challenger.
